SMS Consent and Messaging Policy
This page explains how TimeDetail, operated by Afferte LLC, uses SMS for transactional messages and how users provide explicit consent.
What messages you may receive
- One-time SMS verification codes when adding a phone number.
- Transactional confirmations related to logging time entries (if enabled by the user).
TimeDetail does not send marketing or promotional SMS messages.
How users opt in (explicit consent)
Users opt in inside the TimeDetail web application after logging into their account. SMS consent is collected per phone number at the point where a user adds a mobile number for Text Time features.
- The user navigates to Account → Text Time.
- The user enters a mobile phone number (primary and/or secondary).
- A clear SMS consent disclosure is displayed directly above the phone number field.
- The user must check a consent checkbox acknowledging that they agree to receive transactional SMS messages from TimeDetail before clicking Send code.
- The disclosure states that messages include verification codes and (if enabled) time-entry confirmations only, that no marketing messages are sent, that message frequency varies, that message and data rates may apply, that users may reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help, and that consent is not a condition of purchase.
- The user must then successfully complete a one-time SMS verification code sent to that phone number.
Only phone numbers that complete this two-step consent and verification process are eligible to receive SMS messages from TimeDetail.

Opt out and help
- Reply STOP to any message from TimeDetail to opt out. You will receive a single confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent.
- Reply HELP for help, or contact us at support@timedetail.com.
- Message frequency varies.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Consent is not a condition of purchase.
SMS privacy and data protection
We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share your Personal Data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including but not limited to platform providers, phone companies, and any other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages.
All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
The content of SMS messages you send to TimeDetail is processed to create draft time entries and is not stored after processing is complete.
